Despite being a huge Transformers fan, I haven't been covering the War for Cybertron game because i'm afraid of getting burned. I was really hyped up for the last movie and it was awful. I didn't even buy the DVD and I always buy the DVD. I have absolutely no interest in ever seeing that movie again... the same goes for Spider-Man 3. Anyway thanks to this history of screwuckery I'm hesitent to play anything new from the Transformer franchise, no matter how good it looks, and no matter how many G1 designs they use. The above video and the announcement of the Shock Wave character with pre-orders does make it feel easier and easier to forgive the Transformers for recent abuse....and I do plan on seeing the third movie, figuring it can't get any worse than Revenge of the Fallen..so yeah, I might pick this up... STOP charming me Transformers!
