Ah ! Small Wonder, the weird show about the man that created a robot daughter and kept his massive accomplishment to himself. I remember having the HUGEST crush on Viki (the robot).. I also remember feeling really bad for her during the episode where she fell in love...maybe because I knew I had what it takes as a 12 year old, how to truly get her circuits to overload. (i.e. pouring water down her "throat"... )
I never fully understood why Ted Lawson wasn't more accomplished considering he beat the Japanese to developing a working life like android. Did you read that? He beat the Japanese ! ...By himself ! That at least deserves a noble peace prize or something.
Why am I talking about this show ? The DVD for the first season was released today, and while I have no intent on purchasing it..I just wanted to make you aware in case you love wasting money on old shows that were only good to 12 year olds with nothing better to watch.
