This might literally be the most epic thing that never happened, in short there was an Atari game called Sword Quest that had several elemental sequels. All the games tied together and couldn't be figured out unless you drank from the free goblet and read the comic that came with it. Additionally the game had a contest hidden within. Once all games in the series were released one ultimate winner would get a sword, a philosophers stone and a crown...unfortunately Atari ran out of money and never held the final contest or made the final game in the series.... The game looks like donkey burp, but the idea that you had to read the comic and truly interact with the game in order finish it makes it sound amazing. The prospect of those treasures also ups the epic ante. The idea that the fat dude who bought the company is just sitting around his house wearing the crown and using the sword to stab donuts is infuriating. The balance needs to be restored !
