Okay, so If you didn't watch last nights LOST go away....
Okay great now that it's just me and you I have a new theory that I developed after watching last nights episode, "What Kate Does"....
I'm also questioning what "claimed" means... clearly what happened to Sayid is not what happened to little Ben. I'm thinking that any body left out in the open and not buried, can be claimed. It explains why it was so important bodies be burried. It also explains why people that died but never got buried come back and act strange. Examples: Claire, Christian Sheppard and ..OMG! The Eye patch guy, Mikale ! That's why he was able to get up after being shot by the harpoon... he died and his body was claimed !!!
Interesting, so I think we can assume Christian Sheppard doesn't really work for Jacob...because The others definitely did, and wanted to kill Sayid after being claimed.. which means being claimed places you on the side of smokey, since there's only 2 factions on the island.
