The Morning After: Halloween

I was going to write on what to do the day after Halloween. I wanted to highlight all the deals you can get on Halloween branded candy, fake hands and Jones soda, but I didn’t get to target in time. I happen to live near the only Traget’s in America that open at 8:00am instead of 9 or 10. By the time we got there, the aisles were reminiscent of an abandoned world’s fair. People passing by us had carts FULL of candy, and I mean FULL. I’m fairly sure one lady just raked her arm over the shelf and took what fell in.

I managed to get pretty decent deals on what was left:

• a 4 pack of Mojito Jones soda for $1.49
• a bag of Peppermint Pattie miniatures for $1.30
• 2 bags of “Healthy Fruit Snacks” for 1.99 each

Slim pickings, and the Mojito Jones soda is really gross. Not sure what makes that Halloween themed except that they threw monster in front of the name. I wish it would of been one of the other flavors but I took a chance because I like to put mojito leaves in my lemonade but mojitio in my carbonated sugar water, not so much. IF you can find anything this week is the week to look for deals on all the Halloween candy you can get, Walmarts, Walgreens, Targets are the places to look. Get on it sugar fiends !
