GI JOE DVD's Today...

The GI Joe Movie was everything Transformers 2: Rise of The Fallen should of been. If the same guys that directed and wrote GI Joe, wrote Transformers 2 it'd be getting universal acclaim, despite being very dumb. It was a turn your brain off and enjoy me movie, and as of today it's on DVD so you can turn your brain off EVERYDAY ! Weeeee !



The movie was fun, self mocking, exciting, and even made attempts at being close to it's source material. The sequel's even been set up to be much better than the original with Cobra Commander being the villain, the Joes already being seasoned and the likely heel turn of the Baroness thanks to her virus or whatever. Maybe it will even give her an accent this time.

On the other side of the coin I had no complaints about the animated feature GI JOE Resolute and will be picking it up too. I was hoping the blu-ray had them both in one package so I could just wait and pick that up later this year when I get a PS3, but no such luck.. they want us to double dip.

You can purchase both GI Joe related works as well as season 1.2 of the original show on Amazon, although I'd hold up on buying that since the whole series is coming out next week.
