2 Hour Smallville TV Movie Announced

I haven't watched Smallville since they got rid of Pete, Clark's non-canon black friend. It wasn't some racially motivated protest, it was just a coincidence that the show started sucking around the same time they got rid of the only black character. Apparently though, the show started being good again this season, and with good timing because The CW moved it to Friday's where unlike every other show since the demise of ABC's TGIF, It's actually gaining viewers each week. And NOW it's getting a 2 hour TV movie featuring the JSA.

From Newsarama:

Michael Ausiello reports that the Geoff Johns-penned episodes — initially scheduled to air apart as “Society” and “Legends” — are now being packaged together as a two-hour bonanza.

The CW special — which will have Hawkman, Stargirl, Dr. Fate, and Amanda Waller — will be hitting the CW on January 29. Stay tuned to Blog@ for more Smallville news to come!

I think I will actually watch this and if I can gather enough of the plot to know whats going on from reading wikipedia, I might keep watching the show...wow never thought I'd be considering something like this. I almost feel dirty.
